Install dk

Each installer verifies the manifest, checks the SHA-256 of the dk1 and dk0 executables for your platform against it, and puts them on your PATH.

Verify it worked

dk1 --version

If your shell cannot find dk1, open a new terminal to load the updated PATH.

Run inside a project without installing

To build a project locally without installing dk, vendor the dk1 and dk0 wrapper scripts into the repository. The wrappers download and verify the binaries.

Each command writes the four wrapper scripts, dk1, dk1.cmd, dk0 and dk0.cmd, into the current directory.
